Building blocks for creating multimedia
The following 'templates' are intended as a starting points for any user (particularly children) wanting to learn to use Macromedia's Flash!
With the working files (Flas) one can change anything one wishes. The shape and colour of every part of the movie and how it moves a
The caterpillar can return as a butterfly which can flit onto newly created flowers or the head of the walker etc.
The figure can walk, jump, kick in any sequence or ten walkers can be jumped over by two jumpers - the possibilities are infinite.

When the user is more confident new things can be added easily. Very quickly a new tale is told.
The beauty of Flash is that children can gain great satisfaction at a very basic level - If they can drag across the screen to form a circle then they have created a butterfly with one circular wing see example !
once a design or motion (the figure, butterfly or running motion) has been created it can be imported into any new file so that a school working with flash can build up very large library that can be recombined and added to to create exciting new material. One doesn't have to start from scratch each time. In time the potential is for schools sharing what they have created !
When competence at this level is achieved one can move up a gear and include programming with random nos and logic statements ! ! Some examples will be shown shortly!
