Flash MX can be used to edit Quicktime movies, still images and add animation and further sound as is illustrated in the two movies created below

"The people of Barrow in Furness" has a file size of 4.9 MB and is best viewed with Broadband and on a modern computer with a fast processing chip

"In Barrow, people like talking. . " has a file size of 3.6 MB and is best viewed with Broadband and on a modern computer with a fast processing chip

To create these movies, the video camera footage was first edited with i-Movie and the film clips exported as 320x240 Quicktime movies which were then imported into FlashMX and then edited into a composite movie with a music sound track added (which had also been edited with Quicktime). Still photos were idited with Corel PHOTO-PAINT.

If you are interested in receiving training in using Flash MX in schools both Primary and Secondary contact Geoff Dellow at flash@tygh.co.uk

Courses on the use of Flash 4 are also organised.
